Cargill lies 9 miles north of the Fair City of Perth on the A93. Perth is connected by the M90 from Edinburgh, the A9 from Glasgow and Inverness and the A90 from Aberdeen.

Take the A93 north from Perth to Blairgowrie. After passing through Guildtown travel a further 3 miles then there will be a sign post pointing left to Cargill. Follow this narrow road for a few hundred yards to ''Tay Cottage'' (white Cottage) . Turn down the track to the left of the cottage and follow to the lunch hut.

Take the A93 north from Perth to Blairgowrie. After passing through Guildtown and a further 2.5 miles look for a silver metal gate and a stone roadway heading through a field towards the river. Follow this roadway to the carpark.
