Directions
The Willowgate fishery is just upstream of the M90 Friarton Bridge over the River Tay.
From Dundee leave the A90 at the Perth junction. Take the slip road to Perth. On joining the slip road look for the sign pointing left to Kinfauns & Walnut Grove; then just 100 metres beyond that take the signed track to the left. Cross the railway bridge then turn left onto the access road, go around the roundabout and head back up to the Fishery.
From Perth head for the A90 to Dundee but loop back under the motorway and take the slip road to Perth. On joining the slip road look for the sign pointing left to Kinfauns & Walnut Grove; then just 100 metres beyond that take the signed track to the left. Cross the railway bridge turn left onto the access road, go around the roundabout and head back up to the Fishery.

Rules
Fishing is Strictly by Fly and Float Fishing Only
No more than 3 flies with a maximum size of size 8 longshank
No ground baiting
Barbless or debarbed hooks must be used when fishing catch and release
First fish caught are to be retained until bag limit is reached and only then may catch and release be used
All nets MUST be dipped in the disinfectant tank before fishing
Landing nets and priests must be carried and used responsibly
When fishing catch and release do not remove the fish from the water
Fishing is from the designated stances and platforms access these by the correct path
We recommend a minimum of 5lb breaking strain nylon
Any Person contravening the above rules will be told to leave the fishery
The management takes no responsibility for any damage or accidents to persons or property whilst using these facilities

A fabulous day on the river learning the art of Salmon fishing. Wonderful company and top class Ghillie. Thoroughly enjoyable even if my wife did land her Salmon while mine was the "one that got away".
