A ''Macnab'' namely to stalk a Red Deer, shoot a brace of Grouse and catch a Salmon all within one day is derived from the famous novel by John Buchan under the title ''John Macnab''. We can offer this ultimate sporting challenge from the 12th -30th August 2008. The day will begin at dawn with our experienced Ghillies to catch a Salmon. This is followed by a quick transfer to the heather covered mountains to stalk a Red Deer and shoot a brace of Grouse under the guidance and advice of our respected Stalker and Gamekeeper. All Transfers from Edinburgh / Glasgow and Perth to the fishing and shooting grounds are included together with lunch. The cost for this truly thrilling adventure is £1500 + vat. per person.
SHOOTING & STALKING We have keepers and stalkers with many years experience offering high quality carefully managed Duck flighting and Deer stalking covering some of the most prized sporting ground in Perthshire. Rough shooting and Pigeon shooting are also available.
Walked up: £160 per gun. 8 – 10 head of game per gun. Mixed bag of Pheasant, Partridge, Snipe, Duck etc.
Duck Flighting: £50 per gun
Roe Bucks: Outing fee £60. Cull bucks £150, Medal bucks from £400 + trophy fee. Roe Doe: £100 per day unlimited beasts.Trophy Preparation: From £25 per head
Rifle available for hire. All of the above prices are subject to VAT @ 17.5% and do not include Keepers / Stalkers tips.
