Cargill lies 9 miles north of the Royal Burgh of Perth on the A93. Perth is connected by the M90 from Edinburgh, the A9 from Glasgow and Inverness and the A90 from Aberdeen.

BY AIR
Edinburgh and Glasgow International Airports are about an hours car journey to Perth. Both Airports have many direct flights to destinations in Europe and America. Local Directions To Upper And Lower Beats
 
Cargill Upper ( Tuesday / Thursday / Saturday )
Take the A93 north from Perth to Blairgowrie. After passing through Guildtown and a further 3 miles there is a sign post pointing left to Cargill. Follow this road for a few hundred yards to ''Tay Cottage'' . Turn down the track to the left of the cottage and you will come to the lunch hut.
 
Cargill Lower ( Monday / Wednesday / Friday )
Take the B9099 road leading north from Stanley and turn right at the sign for Kinclaven / Blairgowrie / Ballathie Hotel after a few hundred yards. After traveling 2.5 miles turn right into the Ballathie House Hotel grounds. Follow the drive until you come to a track leading off to the right then take an immediate left turn on to a further track which will take you down to the lunch hut.
